ERW straight seam welded pipe, also known as "resistance welded straight seam welded pipe", ERW straight seam welded pipe is mainly divided into two forms: ERW AC welded steel pipe and ERW DC welded steel pipe. ERW straight seam welded pipes are further divided into low frequency welding, intermediate frequency welding, ultra intermediate frequency welding and high frequency welding according to different frequencies. High-frequency welding is mainly used for the production of thin-walled steel pipes or ordinary thick-walled steel pipes. High-frequency welding is divided into contact welding and induction welding.

ERW is a general name for resistance welded steel pipes. Straight seam high-frequency resistance welding (ERW steel pipe), ERW is the first letter corresponding to an English word. Resistance welded steel pipes are divided into AC welded steel pipes and DC welded steel pipes.

ERW straight seam welded pipe is a steel pipe with advanced performance, leading quality and economy in the field of oil and gas storage and 

transportation.

ERW straight seam welded pipes are generally used as wire sleeves in the power industry. Performance characteristics: 100% ultrasonic testing of the base metal ensures the inherent quality of the pipe body; there is no unrolling-disc shearing process, and the base metal is pressed. Less scratches; there is basically no residual stress in the finished pipe after the stress is eliminated; the weld seam is short and the probability of defects is small; it can conditionally transport moist sour natural gas; after the diameter expansion, the steel pipe has high geometric accuracy; After the forming is completed, it is performed along a straight line at a horizontal position. Therefore, the control of the misalignment, slitting, and perimeter of the pipe diameter is better, and the welding quality is excellent.
