Straight seam welded pipe has simple production process, high production efficiency, low cost and rapid development. The strength of the spiral welded pipe is generally higher than that of the straight welded pipe. It is possible to produce a welded pipe with a larger diameter by using a narrow blank, and it is also possible to produce a welded pipe having a different pipe diameter with a blank of the same width. However, compared with the straight pipe of the same length, the weld length is increased by 30 to 100%, and the production speed is low.
Straight seam steel pipe is one of the welded pipes. Because of the different production processes, straight seam steel pipe can be divided into high frequency straight seam steel pipe and submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipe. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes are further divided into UOE, RBE, JCOE steel pipes according to their different molding methods. There are many steps in the submerged arc welding straight seam steel pipe. From the edge inspection, milling edge, pre-bending edge, etc. to the final X-ray inspection II, the tube end magnetic powder inspection, the straight seam steel pipe to be inspected can be based on the customer or use coating, wipe the relevant anti-corrosion and coating.
In addition to direct use, straight seam steel pipes are processed according to the construction application, and the related processing methods include forging steel, extrusion, rolling, and drawing steel. The forged steel is processed by the pressure of the machine to extrude the blank into the shape and size we need. Extrusion processing is mostly used for the production of non-ferrous metal steel. Generally, the steel placed in the extrusion cylinder is pressed by one side pressure, and then extruded through a die hole after being extruded. Rolling and drawing steel will change the cross-section and length of the straight seam steel tube.
